KU Center for Digital Inclusion
-
Led by Professor Hyunjin Seo at KU, the Center for Digital Inclusion teaches technology skills through research-based education to justice-impacted women, specifically women are currently incarcerated and those who have been recently released from jail or prison in Kansas and Missouri.
-
As the Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Coordinator for the Center, I lead the Center’s research projects and policy efforts. Additionally, I create educational content and help oversee the program's undergraduate research assistants and digital navigators (women who have participated in our education program and now support other justice-impacted women as peer mentors).
-
For the Center, I have created and taught educational content for the participants in the following areas:
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Professional Interviews
Personal & Professional Development Skills
Cybersecurity for Beginners
Along with the content I’ve developed, I’ve mentored participants and graded their work in the following areas:
Basic Computing
Microsoft Office
Online Personal Branding
Professional Writing
Digital and Visual Storytelling
Business Communications
Coding and Python Programming
Personal and Professional Development Skills
Basics of Generative AI
